Celebrating Maker’s Day: Empowering Young Minds to Go Green
We proudly celebrated Maker’s Day on 8th October 2024, under our ongoing Plant a Smile Campaign, embracing the theme ‘Tech and Talent Day.’ This special event aimed to inspire creativity, innovation, and environmental responsibility among our students.
Our Grade 9 and 11 students showcased their talents through engaging PowerPoint presentations on the pivotal topic ‘Plastic Free Day.’ These informative sessions highlighted the importance of reducing plastic waste, promoting sustainable practices, and preserving our environment.
The culmination witnessed students from all classes taking a collective oath to protect and preserve the environment. With conviction and determination, they vowed to reduce plastic usage, promote eco-friendly habits, and conserve natural resources. This powerful moment symbolized our students’ commitment to creating a greener, more sustainable future.
At Gajera International School, Utran, we believe in nurturing responsible, environmentally conscious citizens. Through such initiatives, we foster creativity and innovation, encourage critical thinking and problem-solving, and develop eco-friendly habits and sustainability awareness.
Today’s celebration marked a significant milestone in our journey towards a plastic-free, sustainable future. We are proud of our students’ enthusiasm and dedication to environmental stewardship.
