Leave & Absence Rules
Parents and guardians will appreciate that absence during the term is not in the best interest of the student. We request you to kindly adhere to the following guidelines.
Avoidable Leaves
Parents and guardians are asked not to apply for leave if avoidable, as absence during the term is not in the best interest of the student's academic progress.
Valid Grounds
Leave can be granted to the students only in case of serious illness or the unfortunate death of a very near relative.
Half-Day Policy
Leave for half day should not be asked for security reasons. In an emergency, explicit written permission must be taken from the principal.
Almanac Verification
No student, absent on the previous day, will be admitted to class until the parent has clearly stated the reasons for absence in the school almanac.
Term Commencement
Attendance is strictly compulsory on the very first day of every academic term. Students are expected to be present without fail.
Post-Vacation Absence
Absence for more than three days immediately after vacation without prior notice would attract strict disciplinary action.
Long-Term Absence
Continuous absence for more than 7 days without proper reason renders the student liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls. Re-admission will be granted only after payment of a fresh admission fees.
Medical Quarantine
Students suffering from infectious diseases like chicken pox, cholera, measles, or mumps must observe the quarantine period of time recommended by the doctor before returning to school.
Important Note: We kindly request all parents to support the school in maintaining discipline and ensuring the academic success of the students by strictly following the leave and absence regulations.
