Janmashtami Celebration: A Day of Faith, Love, and Unity
The birth of Lord Krishna was celebrated at Gajera International School on 6th September 2023 and it was hummed with excitement, and the pitter-patter of little feet danced to the melodious rhythms of devotion.
The tiny tots of the pre-primary section and Grade 1 to 5 transformed into little Krishnas and Radhas, donning the most adorable traditional attire.
The boys looked endearing in their peacock feathered headgears and dhotis, while the girls radiated charm in their vibrant lehengas and glittering jewelry. It was a sight to behold, as innocence mingled with divinity.
But the celebration was not limited to just the attire. A mesmerizing ‘Dramatic Dance’ was performed by the young students and teachers, which traced the remarkable journey of Lord Krishna from his divine birth to his heroic feats.
The audience was transported to the mystical land of Vrindavan, where the mischievous young Krishna enchanted everyone with his playful antics.
The highlight of the day was the celebration of Lord Krishna’s birth. In a touching moment of unity, all the learners and educators came together to rock a beautifully adorned cradle.

No Indian celebration is complete without delicious food, and Janmashtami was no exception.
Prasad, the sacred offering, was lovingly distributed to all, symbolizing the sharing of God’s blessings with the entire community.
