


At Gajera International School, Utran, we believe that learning never stops — not just for our students, but for our educators too. To strengthen teaching practices and enhance classroom experiences, we organized an Educators’ Development Program on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th of November 2025.
The three-day program served as a platform for professional growth, reflection, and collaboration. It aimed to empower educators with modern pedagogical tools and strategies that align with the evolving needs of 21st-century learners. Throughout the sessions, educators engaged in a variety of workshops covering a rich spectrum of themes:
Competency-Based Assessment, Art Integration and Storytelling for SST Educators: Focusing on assessing skills and understanding rather than rote learning, educators explored innovative evaluation methods that nurture real learning outcomes. This interactive session highlighted how stories and creative expressions can make Social Studies more relatable and impactful for learners.
LSRW (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing): Educators revisited the core language skills essential for holistic communication, gaining insights into classroom techniques that promote fluency and comprehension.Learner-Centric Pedagogies and Experiential Learning: Sessions emphasized shifting the focus from teaching to learning — creating classrooms where students take ownership of their learning through activities, collaboration, and real-world experiences.
POCSO Awareness Session: All educators participated in a vital session on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, reaffirming the school’s commitment to ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for every child.The program encouraged meaningful discussions, hands-on activities, and sharing of best practices among educators. It not only enriched their knowledge but also rekindled their passion for teaching and learning.
The Educators’ Development Program was a step forward in our ongoing journey toward excellence — reaffirming our belief that empowered teachers create empowered learners.
