Gajera International School, Utran organized an engaging and enriching set of culinary activities that beautifully blended family participation, student creativity, and healthy living.
Two thoughtfully planned competitions provided age-appropriate platforms for students to learn, explore, and express themselves through food.
The Flameless Cooking Competition was conducted for the Pre-Primary section and students of Grades 1 & 2, with enthusiastic participation from parents. Together, parents and children prepared simple, nutritious, and visually appealing dishes without the use of fire. This collaborative activity fostered bonding, teamwork, and awareness about healthy eating habits, while making learning a joyful and memorable experience for the little ones.
Simultaneously, students of Grades 3 to 6 took part in the Salad Decoration Competition, where they showcased creativity, presentation skills, and nutritional understanding. Using fresh fruits and vegetables, students transformed healthy ingredients into colourful and artistic salad displays, reflecting imagination and confidence.
Both competitions successfully encouraged creativity, responsibility, and an appreciation for nutritious food. The day truly celebrated learning beyond textbooks, leaving behind smiles, inspiration, and a strong message of healthy living for all.
