Celebrating Maker’s Day: A Journey of Creation and Compassion
Gajera International School has embraced the vibrant spirit of Navratri with its Maker’s Day celebration, running from October 3rd to October 12th. The festivities began with the inspiring “Plant A Smile” Campaign, initiated by the learners of Vatsalyadham.
These young change makers led a symbolic Mashal Rally, visiting various schools and spreading green goodwill by gifting plants. Their gesture embodied a beautiful message—nurturing both nature and the bonds between communities.
The event soon spread its creative energy to Gajera International School’s youngest learners in the prep section, who engaged in a delightful leaf-printing activity. With natural colors, they created vibrant prints on their handkerchiefs, learning about the beauty of nature through hands-on exploration.
On October 4th, the celebration grew as students from grades 6 and 7 took the lead in designing educational toys and crafting self-development journals. These activities not only sparked their imagination but also encouraged reflection and personal growth. The day was filled with smiles, curiosity, and innovation.
With each day, the excitement continues to build. This enriching journey of creation, collaboration, and giving will unfold until October 12th, showcasing the spirit of making and inspiring others through every step of the way.
