Cultivating Eco-Conscious Leaders: Celebrating Maker’s Day under Plant a Smile Campaign
Today marked the 8th exciting day of the Maker’s Day event at Gajera International School, part of the inspiring “Plant a Smile Campaign.” This joyful journey has been unfolding since 3rd October, filling each day with creativity and smiles.
Today’s theme, ‘Eco Innovators,’ inspired our students to tackle climate change. Our Grades 6-12 students participated in a Model United Nations (MUN) conference, discussing global perspectives, developing policy-making skills, and showcasing creative solutions.
Through this MUN, our students demonstrated exceptional critical thinking, public speaking, and problem-solving skills. They navigated international relations, negotiated solutions, and presented innovative ideas to combat climate change. This interactive platform fostered diplomacy, collaboration, and eco-consciousness.
Our ‘Plant a Smile’ initiative aims to cultivate kindness, compassion, and environmental awareness. By engaging in activities like MUN, our students develop essential life skills while addressing real-world challenges. We proudly acknowledge their efforts to become eco-conscious leaders and change-makers.
The success of today’s celebration was evident in our students’ enthusiasm and dedication. Their passion for sustainability and commitment to making a difference were truly inspiring.
