The opening day of the new academic session at Gajera International School was marked with devotion, positivity, and a vibrant cultural spirit. The school campus welcomed students with a beautifully decorated entrance, creating a warm and festive atmosphere that reflected joy and new beginnings.
To make the first day truly auspicious, a traditional welcome ceremony was organized. Students were greeted with a tilak ceremony, symbolizing blessings, respect, and a positive start to their academic journey. The presence of spiritual values added a meaningful touch to the reopening of the school.
A special pooja was conducted to seek divine blessings from Goddess Saraswati, the symbol of wisdom and learning, and Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles. The ceremony included sacred rituals, followed by arti, filling the environment with peace, positivity, and spiritual energy.
Teachers and staff participated wholeheartedly, guiding students to understand the significance of these traditions—invoking knowledge, wisdom, and success in all their endeavors. Each student received tilak during the arti, making them feel welcomed, blessed, and motivated for the year ahead.
The celebrations continued outdoors with a set of fun, hands-on activities. Students explored the school grounds in an “eco-trail” challenge—identifying trees and pledging small green actions for the year. Alongside, math stations turned the campus into a living puzzle. Laughter and teamwork spilled across the field as children connected numbers and nature to real life—and they clearly enjoyed every minute.
The day beautifully blended cultural values with academic enthusiasm, setting a strong and meaningful tone for the new session. It was not just the reopening of school, but a celebration of learning, respect, and new opportunities.
With divine blessings and positive energy, the academic year has begun on a truly inspiring note.
