Future Leaders Deliberate on the Nation’s Economy
In a remarkable display of intellect and enthusiasm, the Students Council of Gajera International School organized a Model United Nations (MUN) committee session on the topic The Budget 2025. The session, brimming with energy and informed debates, witnessed young learners stepping into the shoes of India’s most prominent political figures to analyze and critique the budget’s impact on society.

The discussion delved into both the positive and negative aspects of the budget, with students enacting influential leaders such as Amit Shah, Sudhanshu Trivedi, Nitin Gadkari, J.P. Nadda, Sharad Pawar, Ashwini Vaishnav, Sonia Gandhi, Sachin Pilot, Narendra Modi, Smriti Irani, Nitish Kumar, Pawan Kalyan, Rajnath Singh, Yogi Adityanath, Rahul Gandhi, Shashi Tharoor, Asaduddin Owaisi, and Mamata Banerjee. Each participant passionately debated fiscal policies, economic reforms, and their impact on various sectors, truly embodying the personas they represented.

Guiding this intellectual discourse were Master Dev Kanani and Master Hetarth, who played the role of eminent chairs. Their expertise in moderating the discussion ensured a well-structured and insightful session. The learners from Grade 7 onwards exhibited commendable analytical skills, proving that age is no barrier to understanding complex national policies.

The highlight of the event was witnessing young minds critically assess economic policies with precision and depth. Their enthusiasm and confidence were truly inspiring, reflecting their keen awareness of national affairs.
Such events serve as a platform to nurture future leaders, thinkers, and policymakers, preparing them for a world where informed discussions shape the destiny of a nation. The MUN session on The Budget 2025 was not just an academic exercise but a stepping stone toward responsible citizenship and governance.
