Student Council Election 2026: Empowering Young Leaders Through Democracy

"Today's voters are tomorrow's responsible citizens, and today's young leaders are tomorrow's changemakers."

The spirit of democracy came alive at our school as learners enthusiastically participated in the Student Council Election 2026, an event that encouraged leadership, responsibility, and active citizenship. The election was conducted for the prestigious posts of Head Boy ,Head Girl and House Captains with students from Grade 1 to Grade 12 casting their votes to elect their student leaders.

To make the election meaningful and educational, a two-day election campaign was organized prior to the voting day. During the campaign, the candidates confidently presented their vision, goals, and ideas for the betterment of the school. They interacted with fellow learners, shared their manifestos, and demonstrated qualities of leadership, communication, and teamwork. The campaign helped students understand the importance of elections, fair representation, and the democratic process.

The entire school actively participated, representing the four vibrant school houses:

  • Green House – Harmony
  • Blue House – Wisdom
  • Yellow House – Aspiration
  • Red House – Bravery

On election day, the campus buzzed with excitement as learners exercised their right to vote in an organized and disciplined manner. From the youngest voters in Grade 1 to the senior learners of Grade 12, every vote reflected the values of fairness, equality, and responsibility.

The election process was conducted smoothly under the guidance of the school administration and teachers, ensuring transparency and discipline throughout the event. The experience provided learners with a practical understanding of democratic values while nurturing confidence, leadership, and informed decision-making.

The Student Council Election was not merely about selecting leaders—it was a celebration of participation, responsibility, and the power of every voice. Through this initiative, our learners experienced firsthand the significance of democracy and the importance of choosing leaders who inspire, serve, and represent their peers with integrity.

At Gajera, we believe in nurturing leadership from a young age, and this election was yet another step in that direction — empowering learners, instilling democratic values, and preparing them to be the change-makers of tomorrow!
